TOURISM GOLD STANDARD TOUR OPERATOR
The Belize Tourism Board has created a “Tourism Gold Standard” Recognition program to enhance Tour Operators for the safety of travelers. These new protocols are focused on enhanced tour operator sanitation practices, social interactions, workplace policies, and standard operating procedures while ensuring minimal impact on the guest experience. The 9-Point program introduces enhanced health and safety standards for tour operators by adopting new behaviors to ensure both travelers and employees are confident in the cleanliness and safety of tour experiences.
For your safety and security:
- All our drivers are fully vaccinated
- Please note at arrival at the International Airport, our driver will meet you at a designated area. He will then take you to our transfer vehicle. Please note to avoid contact, our driver will open the door and give you hand sanitizer to sanitize before entering the vehicle. If you need assistance with your luggage, the driver will gladly assist but not before ensuring to sanitize it before placing it into the back of the tour van.
- All our vehicles are equipped with hand sanitizer for your use, disinfecting wipes, and disposable masks in case you did not bring one
- After every transfer, vehicles are properly cleaned and sanitized. At the end of each workday, vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected.
- Please remember to always wear your mask, wash or sanitize your hands and keep a social distance of 6 feet when in public areas
The CDC requires all persons to present a negative test upon re-entry into the US. The Ministry of Health and Wellness is now offering COVID testing for passengers traveling to the US, Canada, and other destinations that require proof of a negative COVID test for entry.
